Okay, so yesterday I posted the first comic in my new series "Fate of the Ultimate Life". So far, it's a whole lot of nothing, but my second comic should be up some time this weekend (I hope to post one a week).
In other news, the forum now has nine members! w00t! But we still need more members, and of those members we need more than two (Syrus and myself) to be contributing!
Anything else? No, I think I've covered it all.

This update has a title because of a recent formatting fix...instead of having the update message sit right up next to the avatar, We're using line breaks to put it below. I'm also using a new font measurement system.

3 Issues to put up... I am currently working on issue 10 so that should keep everyone busy for a while.
I'll do them later though, as I have a hell of a lot of IT coursework to do!
Note: I sucessfully extracted DNA from a banana in science today! =3

Also, you used the wrong capitalization for the file extensions on your sprite comics. Fixed.
Also, SSBU has gotten pretty good! It's become much like DarkOverlord's "BreakDown" original series. Keep it up!

I'm depressed...I just got kicked out of my Jazz Combo. They said I "didn't fit with the band". The Jazz instructor is trying to find me a new combo, but I think I'll back out; I can't tell if this is just an occurrence or a foreshadowing, but I don't want to take my chances with the latter.
I was psyched, too. I had my effects pedal (to which I programmed in all the necessary FX channels I needed, one with slight reverb, and the other with slight amp gain (for funk songs)). I was all excited to try out the funk channel on the song "Watermelon Man" by Herbie Hancock (which we play as a funk song), and I show up to practice and the Jazz instructor pulls me into his office and tells me that I don't fit with the combo I'm in, which I am now no longer in.
On the other hand, on my way to practice, I saw a poster in the hall for a "Battle of the Bands" competition. I'm going to see if solo acts can enter, but if not, I'll try to put together a band. I'm more cut out for rock, anyway. I'm not a Jazz musician.

Alright...I'm a bit preoccupied with my other projects...if you would like to know what exactly could be taking up my time, here's a list:
- "The Legend of Zelda-Majora's Mask" Fan Movie
- "Elric of Melnibone" Fan Game
- Homework
- "Fate of the Ultimate Life" Fan Comic
- "UNIVERSE" my WIP novel.
- "Hakira Noku" manga/anime
- Re-organizing my room (I basically tore the whole thing apart and started putting stuff back where I wanted it).
- Practicing for my Jazz Combo (we're performing for a school event soon).
- TheDevHome.
- Read "Brisingr".
- Read the bible from start to finish.
- Read "Twilight" (at my mom's request, and she plans to drag us to the movie).
Indeed, that load of crap is my to-do list. Upon completion of one thing, several more tasks arise; and not doing any doesn't work.
Sorry I had to rant about that, but that really is my situation so I apologize if I don't work on the site as often as I should. Hopefully I can complete some of these tasks soon.
Of course, #3 (homework) is recurring, but I'll probably be finished with #5 (UNIVERSE) and #7 (Cleaning my room) fairly soon. Like homework, #8 (Jazz Combo) will be done once the school year is over. All else is TBD, but once I finish everything on the list and everything that leads from it, quite a bit of time will have passed so I probably just hold up on a bit of it; devote time to each task, including the site.

The good times... I am currently working with Sombra on a new skin for the forum... It Is themed on sonic the hedgehog and will have slightly different colours than the "BLUE" theme... I'll put an image up on the forums when I have the main idea sorted out...
Mewthriii's Note: I've also got my own sprite comic going; it's meant to be the final story of the "Sonic's Adventure" series, and it's called "Fate of the Ultimate Life". I can't access my photobucket from school (and being as retarded as I am I didn't put it on my flash drive) so when I get home I'll post it. The basic plot is that Shadow has found a hole in the wall that divides Heaven and Earth. He plans to escape to a neitherworld between Heaven and Earth, and flip the two worlds, killing Sonic and his friends (and even his enemies) and bringing Maria back to life.
And a note to Syrus; I submitted it to MOSH! Wish me luck!

Chill today, Sy, I got the update.
So I put Syrus's sprite comic "Super Smash Bros. Utopia" into its own subdirectory in Fan Junk. I may have my own Legend of Zelda fan fiction posted soon; its still not done but I have an epic ending planned. Perhaps when I'm done I can make it into a game...
Anyway, I'm also working on improving the forum. As you can see we have seven members and nearly 70 posts. BUT WE NEED MORE! We need more members who will actively post and add their own gaming resources. That said, I have a sprite ripping tutorial in the works; I have the text for part 1 of 3 done, though it may change once I add pictures and screenshots.
EDIT: I also have to fix that navbar...

The third installment of my hattrick of updates!
I have an Idea... I am going to try and link the main page of the site to the announcements page of the forum... This will save time and effort...
It might not work... But it's worth a try...
OTHER NEWS: GCSE Mod 1 Maths exam in 40 mins! Wish me luck!
EDIT: I put 6 issues of my comic on the "FAN JUNK" page! Check them out!
Mewthriii's Note: I changed the fan junk navigation; now your comic has it's own sub-page. Also, I'm thinking some sort of blog system would be better...with my new knowledge of PHP and MySQL, I might be able to custom-build something similar to wordpress, but specifically designed for thedevhome. I'll be working hard on it, but don't hold your breath, it could take a while (between school and site content, I won't have much time). If you can handle using the FTP for maybe another month, I can have a crude update system built.
Also, don't use imageshack for hosting your comics; a lot of school servers block photobucket, and as far as I know, Thedevhome.net is still cool in most schools. Thus I will host them on the site.
One more thing; the navigation is still being worked out; should have it finished by tomorrow.

No serious, we're still working on the site. I can't think of a solution to this layout, which is quite mismatched. I'm going to sketch something up and see what I can do about it.
You can expect an update tomorrow, and perhaps improvements some time today.
