Okay, I've been working on a cover of Bulls on Parade by Rage Against the Machine; It's been coming very well, but I need to keep working on it. The Minnesota State Fair (or as we call it, the Great Minnesota get-together) is going on. From what I hear, we actually have *one of* the best State Fairs in the country. I go there mainly for the frozen Mochas, the Spamburgers, the Midway, and the massive hurling that occurs when I do all three within an hour.
Countdown: 4 days
Half a week left before I spend $107...gawd, I could buy a NES and twenty games with that! I could, but I won't because I have another jar of cash set aside for that. On the bright side, the Minnesota Twins are only a half game behind Chicago for the division....we're not giving up the lead that easily. Thank god Chicago is capable of losing...we'd have had a hard time of it otherwise....not much else to say.

Sorry I haven't been updating....I've really been running out of things to talk about. But enough of this.
Countdown: 5 days
Less than a week....oh, man, this is coming up quick....I'm hoping we can bring in more people once we get the domain up....as I said, I'm still working on rom hacking tutorials and ASM tutorials....I actually just downloaded Virtual PC and put windows 98 on it so I can run DOS files....and now I'm using floppy disks! What's wrong with me?!
Anyway, I'm thinking maybe I can earn some money on the side making homebrew roms (not hacked, but rather, using assembly). Maybe I can even make and sell software for making homebrew roms....we could use a Windows XP assembler for x86. Either way...
Adam, you know! Syrus! Yeah... him... his note: OH MY GOD! f-f-f-five d-d-d-days! :]

Okay, so I've been working on promoting TriforceTour.com; it's been a difficult task, but I've recruited a few people. But for the moment I need to help him redesign it, so as to make it more...convincing. In other news:
Countdown: 9 days!
Single digits! The domain is coming at us like an atom bomb! Except it won't suck when this atom bomb finally hits. Either way, I've talked with some people who've used hostmonster, and I've read through the FAQ...supposedly you can start uploading within an hour of signing up, and the domain name is instantly reserved. But it takes a bit longer for the domain to become associated with your account. Either way, I don't think I'll regret it.

It's been a long week....I've got so much else going on....as I'm going into my freshman year, I have to read "The Bridge of San Luis Rey" by Thornton Wilder, and take 5 pages of notes. On top of that, Majora's Mask is taking a while. I'm still working on the props. And when I'm not doing any of that, I'm trying to beat all of my Zelda games (one by one) just so I'm ready the next time there's a new Zelda game.
Countdown: 10 days.
Anyways, still working on saving for a domain....I also agreed to help a friend of mine bring people to his website, TriforceTour. For this reason, I'm going to post a link at the bottom of the page to the website, as a recommendation. Granted, his site (and this is not just my opinion, he agrees with me) needs a better design, however, I offered to help on that as well.

Okay, not much to say today, but I thought I would catch the update today just to give Syrus a break. I've been advertising the site, and I've got a few people convinced just in design. Wether they'll help is another matter, but for now, it's just about putting the site out there.
Countdown: 11 days.
Anyway, I'm still working on ripping LoZ. For now, I'm working on Link, as well as all of his items. The LoZ font will be up soon (by soon, I mean, after I finish directory icons that can lead to such a page), and soon after I will begin working on ripping the map (this will require me to finish the game, but hey, it's a lot easier to rip than other games. Besides, you can go *almost* anywhere at the beginning of the game.).
EDIT: Please note that once we get a third person to help out around here, I may be taking some time off to work on my Majora's Mask fan movie. If you would like to join (and I hope to god that, whoever you are, you do), please email me at the usual address, mewthriii@gmail.com. Thank you.

First of all, I'd just like to say, Kudos to Mark! It takes real maturity and guts to own up to a thing like that! Second of all, as you all know, we are going up in the world! Meaning of course we need more members! Obviously that will be once we get some more reliable resources and hits so until then...
Countdown: 12 days.
New motto coming up! Prepeare for the mighty!
Holy S*** on a S*** Sandwich with S*** on top! And a side order of S***,
Adam's note: If you want to know what that is from, then check out this site here.
Watch from episode one... Serious LOLS... If you like that sort of thing!
M3's note: ...that's rather disturbing...also, you need to put something between the url and the /a or else it won't show up. Fixed.

Oh-kizzay! So. I've been away for a while but I think I know whats going on. I have a feeling that we have a Domain coming up... I'll do my bit in advertising when the site is up fully and Once the comics page is up, I'll put them up!
Countdown: 13 days.
Oh and uh... I forgot my motto... That's problematic...
Mewthriii's *LARGE* note: Hey, thank's for getting the update...I was running out of things to talk about. Anyway, small confession (though some may not think so). It's really just me and Syrus running the site. A lot of you at PureZC (where I go by the name Powerbracelet) probably got a bit suspicious when I said I ran the site. Back when it really was just me, I thought "safety in numbers" so I created alts. Now that were about to go professional (as in, buy a domain and become official) I thought I would fess up. I'm tired of playing this game. I am the leader of Superstition. I am a huge fan of the Minnesota Twins. And I approve this message......also, I'm working on ripping LoZ, I've already done the font, now I'm working on items. And I also added a site map for anyone who gets lost. I'll add a link to the bottom of each page.
Mewthriii's *small* note: Oh, that reminds me! I need to add Fan Comics to the site map. Thanks for the (perhaps unintentional but nonetheless welcome) reminder, Syrus!

Okay, I've been working out some kinks between screen resolutions (mainly PC versus Mac)...when I booted up Firefox (from time to time I work from an iBook), I noticed that the screen is much wider than I anticipated, and the background actually repeats horizontally (I knew it would, I just didn't know it would show up). So this morning I went into the CSS and made it only repeat vertically, and then I changed the background color to match the sky. So now:
Countdown: 14 days.
I tried ripping Link's sprites from Zelda II-The Adventure of Link (using yy-chr, not TileLayerPro or TileMolester), but I couldn't make heads or tails of it. I think I'll find something simpler to rip. Maybe LoZ Link....

Back again for another update....so it's established that you can expect us to be at thedevhome.net by September 2 (we will buy it on the September 1), so I've decided that we'll probably have three days of downtime before the domain is bought, so that we can upload the pages and have it all working within the day. Although, I don't know if and how long it takes hostmonster to set up a domain for you...I would assume within 24 hours.
Countdown: 15 days.
So now, I'll probably just work on archiving old updates (and hence, eliminating old pages), as well as adding sprite sheets and fan fiction/art/etc. I'm also working on a walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda-The Wind Waker (which I recently found out was two words when I played through the game again, and I saw the text flash across the screen as the King of Red Lions explained how to use it).

Alright...there haven't been any updates since the beginning of July, so I decided I would just merge July and August for the archives...once this page makes it there. Anyway, after a long dry spell, I decided to finally make the site relatively modern. INDEED! CSS! A lone style sheet powering all formatting. The more I add to the stylesheet, the less I have to put in the individual pages, and thus the easier it will be to make new pages! Which means....adding content! Yes! And archiving! And fan works! Speaking of which, once the fan works section is up and running, I will add a page for both the Obsession Studios film, Legend of Link, and for my WIP movie, Majora's Mask.
I would also like to point out that a generous contribution from a member of The Spriter's Resource has brought our total sprite sheets up to 39! Yes, indeed, he contributed 36 sprite sheets! So I will try to get those up soon...that's really all.
Oh, but one more thing: As of monday, we are starting the two-week countdown of buying a real domain. Yes! We might be on the final week right now if hostmonster.com hadn't upped their prices, but hey, from what I hear it's worth it. So now we are 16 days out.
There will be an update every day until then. And then a week of down-time as we take out all the snippets of code made necessary by our ties to freewebs and co.nr., and as we transfer the necessary files to hostmonster. The freewebs account will still be here, but only as a storage account for us to keep not-yet-transferred pages (pages with either of the old looks; either the freewebs-template look, or the first and very bleak html design).

First update of the month. I'm going to try to get some of the original content back onto the site. Now that we've got a page of updates archived I'm realizing that those need to be put back up. We'll also get some of the old sprite sheets up...obviously I can't make any promises as we've failed to do this in the past, but I just have so much on my plate right now that I just need some time to fix stuff and dismiss a few projects so I can get on with my life. I guess I'll tackle the finite stuff first, stuff that I can run out of. That way I can have a chance to work on the infinite stuff. I do have some game projects going (one being an Elric of Melnibone fan game, and the rest being, of course, all of my stories and junk for Eye to Eye Media).
So anyway, I just need to work it out for now...
