Title: Happy Halloween!
Message:
Well, it's Halloween today. I know I haven't updated in a while, but it's all worth it when I can update on Halloween. Today is also a minor-big day for tDH. For one thing, before our next update, we will archive this page. It's pretty simple. We just change the name of the html file to the month and the year (for this month it would be 'oct07.html') and make a new html file labeled 'index.html'. We then create a link on the archives page that links to 'oct07.html' and we're done. Cool, huh?

Title: More News!
Message:
As you can tell. I'm very mellow these days. I'm more cool about stuff. I'm also more laid back, meaning that I will update less often. Also, I will be adding a list of game roms that can legally be sent to us, as well as acceptable formats. That's all for today. See ya!

Title: I don't see what all the fuss was about . . .
Message:
I don't understand why Mewthriii made such a big deal about the lost articles. I mean, it's not like he lost any big ones. The one about those awesome plays the twins made is still archived . . . I hope. Still, the one about our policies for accepting staff is still in writing in a file somewhere. Mewthriii managed to save "The Great Debate" update. Besides, it wasn't his fault. The blog wasn't loading right that day. He saved as much as he could. I'm not worried.

As for updates, there's only one: now that we are using HTML, we can update from a Safari browser, too. That means we can update from anywhere!

Title: Well, I'm over it . . .
Message:
Well, I'm over my little fit over the lost updates (I probably souldn't call them lost, or I might start regretting it again). A wise man (okay, so he was the Astrid's dead assistant from Phantom Hourglass, but so what?) said that regret is not for the living. I learned a lot from that guy, and I learned not to regret my actions. To reassure myself, I look at the Spriter's Resource. They haven't been archiving their updates for all eternity. In fact, they stopped archiving their updates for a while. Mario and I aspire to be like tSR, just not 'word for word'. We also like to expand off tSR's ideas. In a way, we actually want to be better than tSR, just not in a competitive kind of way. It's more like we learn from our predecessors, and move on. It's like evolution, except the good ones like tSR, The ShyGuy Kingdom, and PanelMonkey will never die out. They will never give in.

Speaking of tSR, by the way, did you hear that tSR is actually the largest sprite database on the net? Not that I doubt it, that's the first place I look when I need good sprites. Problem is, they still haven't implicated that new sprite system where you can sign up for membership and all. I s'pose the new school year doesn't help any, but they said they would have it done by the end of the summer. Still, I'm not very picky, I'll be satisfied if it's done before I enter High School. Not much else to say . . . oh yeah, I'm setting up icons to go with our staff, as well as information on the staff. See ya!

Title: First HTML Update
Message:
Well, it's a great day for our website! Do you know why? If you don't, you probably didn't read the title. Today, our website was upgraded and brought into the wonderful world of HTML! Yeah, I know, it's not as good as 'XML' but it's a start, we're learning . . .

Anyway, not much else is finished. We've been working so hard to migrate that we haven't gotten anything done. Not that anyone reads this page anyway, most of the visitors are just the staff looking at the page to see if they did a good enough job on it.

Regardless, I am still working hard on my Mask Of Eons fanfiction, although I do seem to have hit a writer's block. I'm torn between two storylines, and I know that one is unprofessional and the other has already been used *twice* in the LOZ series.

I must warn you though, updates will be spaced further apart now that the HTML has been implicated. I will be switching to 1 GB Wi-Fi when it comes in December, though, so that will help. Over the summer, we will be able to update almost every day due to the lack of school during summer months. I will also update quite a bit over winter break. I hope to get my band together for a practice sooner or later, so I will be telling you about that in future updates.

Finally, I must say that our forum has been disbanded. Due to the switch to HTML, we were forced to get rid of it. When we can, we will bring it back, but for now, I think it is time the staff took a breather after all of the work that was done in preparation for the HTML switch.

[EDIT: Gawd, I'm stupid. I deleted all of our updates from now to August 30. Now I can't archive them. I told Mario and he says that I'm being too much of a packrat, and that sometimes you just have to let go.]

Mewthriii misspoke. We will need to tell you how the switch is going. We will save the down time for the actual HTML upgrade. As for the progress, we've made good headway. We've archived updates of September 06, as well as posted some of our cooltext buttons and logos on the file manager.

Title: Last stop for 100 miles-destination: HTML!
Message:
Well, today is a big day! Do you know why? We're switching to HTML!

Yeah, It'll be great. Here's the thing, though-because of the switch, there will be consequences. Yeah, we've got to get rid of some of freewebs's luxuries in order to get certain areas of freedom. For example, the forum will have to disband, as we will have to put in a new one on our own, god knows how long that will take. On the bright side, with HTML we can have as many pages as we want by use of imported HTML documents pre-programmed in notepad. Alas, we could do this before, too, but it would result in format inconsistencies, and we want the page to look as good as possible.

Also, please make a note that there will be no updates for the next few months. We will need some down time in order to work on the HTML version. Over time, we will be importing files onto the site so that we have less to do once the switch is made. In the end, the switch will be worth it.

Just remember that this won't fail like our previous improvement schemes. Moving to a domain required money, which we don't have, and in this business we may never have more than a few dollars collectively at a time. This time, no money is required, we have all the knowledge we need, and it will have more results than the domain switch. Not many freewebs sites are programmed directly by the freewebs user, and a unique site usually catches the eye of anyone who sees them.

Title: Small update today . . .
Message:
All I've got to say today is that we're trying to set up something for our own sprites/maps/etc. use. Here's how we're hoping it will work: We open up a few "Developer's Home" pawn shops where you can sell your old TVs, consoles and video games. Instead of selling them back to other people, we keep them and use them around our office here so that we can play the games for walkthroughs and such (we'll actually have an employee library so that anyone in the company can check out a game. That's why we need you to pawn off TVs, too). Don't expect to see any shops in the near future, it's just a concept.

Here's another thing that we can do, though: whenever someone sells us a game that we don't need because we already have it, we put it on display and sell it like in a regular pawn shop. It can be a three-way pawn!

Anyways, that's all. See ya!

Title: Quick Update today
Message:
Well, I don't know if this is good news or bad news, but we have banned several games from submission. If you wish to submit items from banned games, be my guest. Just remember that the only way for a banned game to be unbanned is for ten or more different people to submit items about that same game.

Our current banned games are "Pokemon Turbo" for PC, and "Zelda's Adventure" "Zelda-Faces of Evil" and "Zelda-Wand of Gamelon" all for the Playstation Experiment. Those Zelda games are banned because 1) They were terrible and 2) Nintendo disowned them and quit the PSE project a few weeks in. With any respect for Nintendo, a good fan will shut those games out of their minds. Please note that the above Zelda games will never be unbanned.

Title: Hi
Message:
I have news about Phantom Hourglass. In light of new story information, I must alter my fan fiction, Mask of Eons, slightly.

Also, I must clear something up with that game. If you think that the fact that everyone called Ganondorf "The Evil King" was incorrect, I must point out a detail from Ocarina of Time. In OoT, they say that Ganondorf was "the sole man of the Gerudo tribe". In the Gerudo tribe, they treated men like kings, as a man is born unto that tribe only once every hundred years. Therefore, while they did overuse the statement "evil king", it was nothing compared to Zelda's Adventure, The Wand of Gamelon, And Faces of Evil, a bunch of idiotic Zelda games made by a company called Phillips.

Bye

Title: NEW ZELDA GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Message:
Good news-the new LOZ game, Phantom Hourglass, premiered on Monday, and like the vultures we are, we were all over it. Mewthriii reserved a copy for company use, and now I've started a walkthrough for it. Of course, there is nothing else we can do with it, seeing as our main computer lacks a rom dump. We're waiting for other people to submit sprites of the item screens and mini maps to other pages, so that we can then get permission to use the sprites.

Don't bother asking why no one's updated in a million years, you won't like the answer.

Also, we have had issues getting more readers, so if anyone is reading this page, I must ask you to tell anyone you know about this website. The more publicity we get, the more items we recieve, the more credibility we have, and the more credibility we have, the more likely we are to get submissions, creating an infinite loop leading to our inevitable fate, whether it be floating or sinking. Please submit to us and tell all your friends!
