Title: A quick one.
Message:
Just a quick update for now-Mewthriii's fan-fic is almost done, so he will update tonight with that and a few other things. Obviously, we won't need more than one update in one day, so I'm just going to edit a few things and be done.

Also, I have been looking back at older updates, and have found that some things have been a bit confusing. To clear things up, the reason I was hired here was because knew Pacman Kirby. He sings for Superstition, while I play lead guitar. Thought you ought to know.

Title: Uncontrollable awesomeness!
Message:
This is so cool! You know I support the MN Twins, right? I was watching the game last night-they were playing Cleveland-and you should have seen it; you know how the Cleveland Indians are the best team in the division, right? You should have seen Nick Punto! (#8, second base) Here's the scene-Cleveland's up at bat with two away. Their batter hits a bouncer to second, and Punto has to jump to keep the ball from getting away from him-DOES A MIDAIR TWIST-to get it to Morneau (#33, MVP, first base), who has to stretch really far to catch the ball and to keep his foot on the bag.

Later, Torii Hunter (#48, right field) catches a would-be homerun, and ends up slamming into the wall in right field. The resulting BAM that could be heard by everyone sounded very painful. Also, Jason Bartlett (#18, Short Stop) got his fifth homerun of the season (against the Indians, of all teams. I tell ya, he's on a winning streak).

I can hardly focus on the update, but I'll try:

COMING SOON:
-FAN FICTION-
The Legend of Zelda-Mask Of Eons Chapters 1-3 by Mewthriii (completion: 90%)
-SPRITES-
Pokemon Red/Blue Title Screens by Mr. Peaceout (completion: 99%)
-FAN GAME GUIDES-
Make your own LOZ Game by Pacman Kirby (completion: 17%)

The extra ten percent of Mewthriii's fan-fic is typing up the third chapter (the manuscript is hand-written).

Title: My First Update
Message:
Small update today. I'm a bit busy, so I'll make it quick:

COMING SOON:
-FAN FICTION-
The Legend of Zelda-Mask Of Eons Chapters 1-3 by Mewthriii (completion: 80%)
-SPRITES-
Pokemon Red/Blue Title Screens by Mr. Peaceout (completion: 99%)
-FAN GAME GUIDES-
Make your own LOZ Game by Pacman Kirby (completion: 17%)

That's about it. The sprites aren't going anywhere, but Mewthriii has just been cruising along on that fan fiction of his, so we should have the first 3 chapters soon (I read a bit of it, and it's pretty good).

Title: The News
Message:
Well, here you have it: a system where we don't simply tell you the news, we give you here-and-now updates on progress based upon completion. So, here's our status right now:

COMING SOON:
-FAN FICTION-
The Legend of Zelda-Mask of Eons by Mewthriii (completion: 55%)
-SPRITES-
Pokemon Red/Blue Title Screens by Mr. Peaceout (completion: 99%)
-FAN GAME GUIDES-
Make your own LOZ Game by Pacman Kirby (completion: 16.5%)

Well, that's the rundown of everything here. And for future reference, whenever you see something credited to Mr. Peaceout, that means that two or more of the crew pitched in to put it together. Also, any underlined names are part of the crew. If any names aren't underlined, they're simply members who submitted their work. Yes,I know what you're probably thinking: It's psychotic to even think of saying that! You don't have any members! True, but as I said before-FUTURE REFERENCE! These blog articles aren't going anywhere.

Title: Fan Art and Walkthroughs and Sprites-Oh my!
Message:
This is Waddle-Dee-Doo-Daa reporting from Studio C. Reports have been made that this page has not only found itself a new name, but is now supporting fan-fiction, fan art, and game walkthroughs. AND IT'S TRUE! We're contacting people who have made walkthroughs for sites such as Gamefaqs and IGN, trying to get permission and such. Meanwhile, our own Mewthriii is working on an extensive fan-fic story called "The Legend of Zelda-Mask of Eons", which we plan to make into a game. And on top of it all, MARIO IS BACK! He's the one who gave us the new name, which he had been thinking about ever since we told him about the name problem. Here you have it: The Developer's Home. How's it sound? The soon-to be ultimate paradise for anyone in need of assistance creating a game! It will have EVERYTHING (or at least, it will once we have some decent HTML-ers who can put the entire website in text documents so that we can have unlimited pages without buying premium (which we were hesitant about because we not only have very little traffic through here-therefore preventing us from earning any money, but because we have no working pay-pal account to pay for it with even if we did have a lot of traffic)). That's a LOT of parenthesies!

Speaking of traffic, we entered our page into google's search database, so with any luck we'll be able to get a bit more traffic. It costs a bit of money to get into other searches, but Google is the most well known search in the world (even Bush knows what it is, for God's sake!), so we should be fine.

COMING SOON:
Fan Fiction-Mask of Eons

From Studio C, I'm unreliable and certifiable, I'm Waddle-Dee-Doo-Daa!

Message:
Hey, I know I haven't updated a lot, but that's only because I've been assigned the task of reporting big news. Therefore, it is my job to tell you how the new setup is going to work. Any previously posted games that have been updated will go under the 'Updates' section.

Also, we will have links to software that people can use for game development, as well as software of our own for etc. purposes. For now, here's our list of new and coming soon-

Title: I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing . . .
Message:
VRgames is no longer VRgames. We did some reasearch and found that VRgames already exists. This revalation is actually a bi-product of another idea. Several people had been thinking about it, but only Hendrix Luigi brought it up at Monday's last friday's company meeting-how will we sell our games if the player not only needs a PC, but also the program BYOND on their computer. How are we to get the mass-market appeal? We all agreed that we're to comfortable with BYOND to learn a language like JAVA. Not a second too late, Mewthriii spoke up and suggested that we make the task of MAKING the video games a side-task. Not too many people were keen on this idea until he added "We could make our main priority the task of helping other people make video games. We could have a database of sprite sheets, music ripped from video games, guides on how to design games (including design philosophy of different series). We could have the things people say in different games, and other stuff." We therefore decided that if our business was not primarily making video games, we should have a different name. For those of you who have been watching our site for the entire time, you will be happy to know that Donkey Kong is coming back! Everyone agreed, and we will start changing it tomorrow.

Title: I'm thinkin' 8-bit!
Message:
A week ago, we started a new series. A series that would change the world. It was sort of our idea, and it sort of wasn't. Presenting:

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA COMPLETE-8bit!

Think of it like this-playing every Zelda game on gameboy noncolor. Every icon would be black and white, tri-tone, and 16 pixels by 16 pixels. They said I was mad! They said that you couldn't make a good emulation of Ocarina of Time in 8-bit, black and white with a Hawk's eye view. I with the help of VRgames, will prove them all wrong! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha (do you think I need some more 'ha's?) ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Title: Excerpts
Message:
Today, we have an excerpt from my up and coming novel, Hakira Noku, to be published by Eye To Eye Visual Arts (for those of you who just began reading our updates, Eye To Eye is the company that just bought us out). Here it is:

Hakira walked down the corridor. It was covered with windows that showed flashes of the moonlit sky. Suddenly, if came again. It was that all-too-familiar high-pitched ring that sounded when Bardox was about to kill. One after another, the windows began to shatter. Hakira now found himself running to get away from the windows. At the first chance he got, he leapt into the air and sent himself flying as quickly as possible toward the end of the passage. He channeled all his energy to his finger tips, then sent a huge wave of energy out to the walls. The energy did as Hakira expected. The glass was no longer able to shatter into the corridor, so it was shattering out into the grassy plains outside. Not daring to stop, Hakira sped to the door at the end of the hall. He knew that behind that door was Bardox. Hakira didn't care what happened. He didn't want to know what the outcome would be. All he knew was that he wanted Bardox dead, and he knew that he was the only one who could destroy Bardox. The door creaked open at the slightest touch, and Hakira slid inside.

Keep an eye out for more excerpts from Hakira Noku!

Title: PETE TOWNSHEND EVERYONE!
Message:
Na . . . . na, na . . . . Out here in the fields, I fought for my meals, da . . . . da, da.

In honor of the Who, I am going to suggest a new game for VRgames-guitar hero, the Who edition! What do you think? Y'know, it could be like a PC version of guitar hero, except we use only songs by the Who! Wouldn't that be totally awesome?

Nah na! We'll Be fighting in the streets, with our children at our feet,

Wouldn't that be so cool? I don't know, maybe I'm just delusional from the late-night gig last night, but while we were covering Love Reign O'er Me from the Who's Quadrophenia, it hit me.

Title: More info about the new info
Message:
We've got help on the "Pokemon Green Project". Other BYOND companies are helping us correcting certain glitches in the format, and helping us revamp certain icons from Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow.

As for new games, we have an entirely new series starting called "Hakira Noku". It's similar to UNIVERSE, except it's about this kid (called-what else-Hakira Noku), whose hometown was destroyed by an extra-terrestrial named Bardox. He then tries to stop Bardox from destroying more cities, with the help of some friends and a bit of technology. Hendrix Luigi actually had this idea many years ago, and through this idea he has proven his worth. He says that after careful research, he found that "Noku"is a religious word in another language, and "Hakira" is an uncommon yet not unheard of Japanese name.

All is well here. No worries.

Title: More info about Pokemon Green
Message:
We are continuing our work on Pokemon Green. Tetris Wizard has been having a blast going through the original Red Version start to finish writing down everything that everyone in the game says and when they say it.

Meanwhile, Mewthriii's been programming the battle sequence, which he says is hard and I don't doubt it.

Pacman Kirby is getting sprite sheets off the Spriters Resource (http://www.spriters-resource.com) and has colored them based on other Pokemon games that were in color.

Waddle-Dee-Do-Da is a doing very good, strangely enough. He's been working on the map, and has done a good job placing sprites in the places they should be.

As you may have guessed, Hendrix Luigi Is doing the themes, and believe it or not, has found a way to get the sounds recorded directly from the games. How he does it is a trade secret, so I just let him work his magic with the games and send the files to Mewthriii to be programmed in.

Powerbracelet is doing a fantastic job supervising the progress and reporting back to me. Every time he gives me a status update, I do a calculation to see how far, in terms of percent, we are through the game. Things are going good down here at HQ.

One last thing-if you want to join the crew and help us build the games, a new page has been added for anyone who wants to help.

Title: Back on Track!
Message:
Today, we're continuing an old project-Pokemon Green.

Mewthriii just finished programming the ledges that you can jump over (he says it took forever, but I only saw him working on it for 5 min. before he moved on to the next project-player-environment interaction. Point is, project green is back in action.
